LIVE! ECLIPSE 99

We was recorded over 14,000,000 hits, over 2,600,000 page view, over 5,600 stream, and access from over 116 countries.
The last solar eclipse of the 20'th century is now over.
From nine locations spanning England to Iran, we succeeded in transmitting images from six locations, centered in the east. Through our system of combining images from different locations into one screen it was possible to view the gradual progression of the shadow from west to east. During this eclipse our home page had more hits than ever before. In the near future we will release precise details.

Among those who tried to access our page there were unfortunately some who could not gain access due to overcrowding. We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to those who were inconvenienced.

In Stuttgart, where I went to view the eclipse, it was unfortunately cloudy and we couldn't see anything.
However, we were able to watch the LIVE! ECLIPSE transmission on the Internet and the many people with us were very impressed.

The next eclipse is in 2001 and will occur in Africa. I am looking forward to again meeting you either under the shadow of the Moon or on your PC.
