To every eclipse lovers in the world. The first total eclipse in this century finished right now. The Zimbabwe observation team and I could see by my eyes fantastic corona, which is typical in the solar maximum. We have sent this beautiful image via high quality satellite line to Tokyo. The webcast team has sent this image through Internet to the world. We have succeeded in broadcasting very high quality image never seen before. But we have to apologize that we could not send images from Madagascar due to the trouble of a generator. I express my heartfelt thanks to the companies, organizations, persons who have supported this big project. Thanks are also due to many eclipse lovers who sent cheering messages to us, observation teams in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Madagascar.
